With actor Jung Il Woo in the midst of finalizing his casting for MBC's new drama, 'The Moon That Embraces the Sun', the cast dove into their first script reading. On December 26th, a representative stated, "On Christmas day, Han Ga In, Kim Soo Hyun, and Jung Il Woo held their first script reading at the MBC Dream Center in Ilsan." According to the representative, the script reading took off to a positive start, with each actor eager and anticipative of the upcoming drama. Jung Il Woo will be getting into a deadly love triangle with Han Ga In and Kim Soo Hyun, who not only plays the role of the King, but also his stepbrother. Commenting on his casting, Jung Il Woo stated, "I felt pressured, especially since I had such little time to recover from the ending of my last drama. Still, I loved the plot of the drama and I felt charmed by my character, which aided in my decision to join the cast. I'll be using the love I received in 'Flower Boy Ramyun Shop' to work even harder and show better acting through 'The Moon That Embraces the Sun'. Please look forward to it."
