Two days ago we reported that Big Bang & Gmarket released a making of clip from their new CF video shoot. Today they released three 30 second commercials for the 2012 Gmarket campaign, which offers a 12% discount for the 12 months of 2012 for people in their 20's. The first video showed a tense scene where gang leader, G-Dragon, asks his hostage Seungri, "How many times do you want to get hit?". Seungri defiantly replies, "20" and a confused Taeyang asks "20?". The second video shows off T.O.P's acting skills as he angrily screams, "Why are you picking a fight with me? Why am I the only one being picked on?!" [ a play on words since 12 ('shib ee') in Korean sounds similar to 'shibi' which means 'to provoke/to pick a fight"] The mood then quickly changes as Daesung responds, "It's 12 because you're in your 20's". The last video, and probably the funniest, features G-Dragon and T.O.P engaging in a word game. It all starts when G-Dragon asks, "What's for today?", to which T.O.P replies, "Last syllable word game" (a game that involves having to come up with a word starting with the last syllable of the previous word). T.O.P starts off stating "ee shib" ('20' in Korean), and after pondering for a moment, G-Dragon responds, "shib ee" ('12'). T.O.P once again responds with "ee shib" (since the last syllable of 'shib ee' is 'ee'). G-Dragon fires back with "shib ee", and so the word game continues on in an endless circle. Looks like VIP's will not only enjoy the extra 12% discount in 2012, but will also love the extra eye candy in Gmarket's commercials! Source + Image: Gmarket Youtube
