"Sexy Queen" Lee Hyori became an interviewer for Korean magazine, "Singles" in mid-October where she got the chance to interview British primatologist, ethologist, anthropologist, and UN Messenger of Peace, Jane Goodall in Seattle. Lee Hyori expressed, "When I started to develop an interest in animal rights activism, the first book I read on it was one written by Jane Goodall. She is like a teacher to me in my heart." During the interview, Lee Hyori expressed her thoughts and worries regarding animal rights activism in Korea. She also sought advice from Jane Goodall regarding real-life cases in Korea like the eating of dog meat, foot-and-mouth disease, etc. Lee Hyori revealed, "Even though I am against the wearing of fur coats now, I have received criticism for wearing fur-made products in the past." Jane Goodall expressed, "It's not possible to advocate change in an instant by anyone. What's important is doing what can be done right now. Many have also criticized why I am not a vegan, but there are countries where they don't produce it." After the interview, Hyori revealed with a smile, "I was so nervous, I will answer in a serious manner when I get interviewed on questions like this in future." Source: Sports Chosun via Nate
