Rapper Crown J has once again pleaded not guilty against the accusations him assaulting his ex-manager. The second hearing took about six hours in total at the Seoul Central District Court. An associate of Crown J, Mr.Shin, who was present during alleged assault incident, and Mr. Kim, the yacht dealer, attended the trial as witnesses to this unfortunate event. According to the prosecutor, Crown J is being charged for luring his ex-manager in to a coffee shop at Shin Sa Dong on August 29th, then assaulting him with help from acquaintances. Then the rapper brought the ex-manager to his house in Heng Dang Dong, Seoul, and forced the manager into signing a contract saying that he would forfeit a yacht estimating in about 100 million won. On this day, the ex-manager provided evidence pictures of his wounds around his chest due to the assault and said, "After being lured in to the cafe, they started assaulting me for about 20 to 30 seconds" and added, "Mr.Shin was the one who threatened me with a glass in his hands multiple times. There was nothing that I could do to protect myself." The ex-manager commented when he was asked to explain the situation in detail, "I didn't have the energy to look at my surroundings. When I stepped in to the cafe, they smacked the back of my head, grabbed my collar with his left hand, and started hitting my chest area about two or three times." However, Mr.Shin refuted every argument that the ex-manager gave saying, "I lightly pushed him about two times on his shoulder; the part of me hitting him with my fist is not true. It doesn't make sense that I would do something like that in a public area," asserting his innocence. Mr.Shin also added, "He also said that I had threatened him while holding a glass bottle, but he himself said that he didn't remember that part before." During the trial, Crown J and his acquaintances continued to plead not guilty. Crown J's 3rd hearing is to be held on August 11th, 2PM, at the same place. Source & Photo: Star News
