Actor Jung Il Woo will be acting as a DJ on a radio show for the first time in his career.
He will substitute for regular DJ Choi Kang Hee on September 3rd and 4th for the radio program 'Choi Kang Hee's Raise the Volume'.
Choi Kang Hee, who is currently receiving much love for her role on SBS's 'Protect the Boss', had personally asked Jung Il Woo to fill in for her on the program, since they've have been good friends for many years. The two stars had worked together in the 2007 movie, 'My Love'.
Jung Il Woo has previously come on as a special DJ for FM4U's radio program 'Jung Yeop's Blue Night', but has never hosted a radio show by himself before. Consequently, many fans expressed that they're really looking forward to the special event.
The actor expressed, "Ever since I was young, sitting in the seat of a radio DJ has always been a dream of mine. I wasn't very burdened when I went onto a radio program as a guest, but thinking about hosting a radio program by myself makes me nervous. However, I am determined to create a sweet night for everyone this weekend, so please tune in to the program".
In related news, Jung Il Woo has recently been cast for tvN's new drama 'Flower Boys of the Ramen Shop', and will be making a comeback on the small screen this coming October.
