Fans of the late Park Yong Ha recently gathered in Seoul to attend the one-year memorial service for the actor's death. SBS's "One Night of TV Entertainment" reported on the opening of the memorial service, which took place back on June 30th; for which a total of 1,500 fans, from both home and abroad, were present. Many fans dropped tears of sadness as they were still mourning the death of their beloved actor. Park Kwang Hyun, one of the late Park Yong Ha's closest friends, stood up on stage to present a heartwarming speech. "Are you doing well? After passing so many days in disbelief, it has already been one year. We might still be sad, but I hope you're resting comfortably up in heaven." One Japanese fan expressed, "Park Yong Ha is still alive in the deepest of our hearts. We formed a group in Japan that helps continue on the voluntary work that Park Yong Ha committed to during his life time." Park Yong Ha underwent voluntary work in Chad, Africa, where he helped build the first Jonah School for the children.
