Writer Kim Ye Ri, who was writing the script for SBS's "Lie to Me", had to step down suddenly because of health reasons. The last script written by Kim Ye Ri was the 10th episode, which aired last week, and writer Choi Yoon Jung filled in starting with the 11th episode. Because of the sudden replacement, netizens questioned if the change occurred because of the declining ratings. However, an official from SBS stated, "Low ratings is not the writer's fault and is not a problem that the writer should be be responsible for. It is just that she could not write anymore because of her health." The official added, "Writer Kim Ye Ri quit only because of health problems; it had nothing to do with the ratings. Although Kim has been replaced, we are planning to stick with the scenario she pictured. The work won't go in a totally different direction. It is totally true that she is the original writer." Meanwhile, writer Choi Yoon Jung has also written scripts for MBC's "Life Special Investigation Team" and "Spotlight". Source: TV Daily via Nate
