Kim Jung Min of Seoul Connection put on probation for smoking marijuana

Since May, underground hip hop crew Seoul Connection's rapper Kim Jung Min has been undergoing prosecution for being caught smoking marijuana.  Recently, it was decided that the artist will be put on probation for two years as a consequence.

The judge explained, "As a celebrity, he should have been more strictly punished, but he made amends for his wrongdoing and we took into consideration his lack of previous convictions."

Afterwards, a dissatisfied Kim Jung Min objected to the final decision by appealing to the court.

Last December, he was charged and convicted for smoking marijuana three times with foreigners in a bathroom in Mapo, Seoul.
