Girl group T-ara will be entering the Japanese market under the best guidance possible. It was revealed that T-ara agreed to an exclusivity agreement worth 350,000,000 yen (~ $4,365,165 USD) with Japan's J-ROCK. Their agency, Core Contents Media, stated, "T-ara's Japanese music distribution company is EMI MUSIC JAPAN; however, management and promotional marketing will take place under J-ROCK. J-ROCK is planning to have T-ara participate in dramas, as well as take part in MC activities, singing, and acting in films. Together we plan to mold them into universal entertainers, much like they are in Korea." They added, "The earlier press release which stated that 'Smile Company' will be responsible for T-ara's management and promotional marketing was incorrect."
