It seems as though Kim Jong Min is still unable to avoid his break up with Hyun Young. During the April 20th airing of MBC's "Radio Star", MC Kim Gu Ra surprised Kim Jong Min by asking, "Have you seen Hyun Young at the various broadcast stations (after the break up)?" Kim Jong Min answered, "Huh?" and tried to avoid the question altogether. However, after the continuation of questions from the MCs, Kim Jong Min stated, "This is an old story now. That person needs to get married too so I'm worried," revealing his apologetic attitude towards bringing up her story again. He continued to answer the questions, "I met her once. We just naturally greeted each other." After seeing Kim Jong Min's careful actions towards the issue, Kim Gu Ra stated, "I also have a past. However, instead of hiding it, it's better to reveal it and overcome it." After hearing that, Kim Jong Min explained, "There's a part of me that wants to talk about it also. However, since that other person is also working in the same field as me, it might negatively affect her." Kim Gu Ra then retorted, "If you think like that, then why did you break up with her in the first place?" Kim Jong Min, without thinking, shouted out, "Because we fought!" making everyone on set laugh. On the other hand, Kim Jong Min stated, "I could meet another celebrity, I don't want to limit myself to the diversity of people that I may be able to meet," showing that he is optimistic towards the next love he will find in his life.
