They've been promoting without rest for the past eight months, but the ladies of SISTAR finally got to catch their breaths during this Lunar New Year holiday. Star News got to interview the girls, and in the spirit of the holiday, asked them what their goals were for this new year. SISTAR replied, "We've nearly completed promoting our third single. This year, we don't want to make plans for a new album; instead, we want to focus on training individually because there was something lacking every time we stood on stage. We want to fill that void before we get back on stage again." They continued, "Last year, we focused on variety program appearances, so this year, we'll be showing all of our charms through a plethora of programs. We'll be showing just how charming we can be!" On December 17th, 2010, the girls received their first-ever public broadcast trophy through KBS's "Music Bank" for "How Dare You." Unfortunately, footage of the girls receiving their trophy wasn't aired because KBS decided to broadcast a year-end event instead. They reminisced, "We received our trophy in our waiting room. It was disappointing, but we never dreamed of winning #1 so it gave us a lot of encouragement to do even better this year. We want to win #1 again (laughter)." Despite the smile, it's obvious to anyone that receiving one's very first trophy in a waiting room backstage is more than disappointing. Still, the girls said, even that was better than nothing. The girls concluded the interview with a message to their fans."Thanks to the holiday, we'll be going home for break and spending it with our families. It will be a really joyful holiday, and the reason we're smiling like this is out of gratitude for our fans. Because of our fans, we're able to have fun on stage and enjoy the music we like. e hope that this year is one that our fans can start with a happy heart." Source: Star News via Nate
