The anticipation for IU's punishment of 'half make-up' has been rising among fans as of late. On the past episode of SBS's variety program, "Heroes", which aired on February 13th, the 'popular team' and the 'unpopular team' competed in a competition to see who could properly set a table as a hotelier. By losing, the 'popular team' - which includes IU, Yoo In Na, Nicole, Kahi, Jiyeon, and No Sayeon - received the punishment of 'half make-up'. For the punishment, the losing team members must only wear make-up on one side of their face, leaving the other half completely bare. IU, in particular, displayed a very worried look when she found out that she will be receiving the punishment. Also, with this new punishment, her past suffering with the taping of her face is becoming a hot topic once again. On January 23rd, during the smart-phone movie challenge, IU and Narsha were coupled to shoot a movie together. To get the picture of a student's point-of-view, IU taped the smartphone onto her forehead. Although acting with the phone taped to her face was humiliating, director Lee Ho Jae complimented, "The movement of the camera to represent a sleepy student, and the drool on the test to display tiredness, was very detailed and well-expressed."
