A video has been uploaded revealing new Co-ed sub-unit girl group 5Dolls vigorously training for their upcoming debut.
The video shows the daily routine of the five members as they have rap lessons from 12pm-2:30pm, vocal lessons from 3pm-5:30pm, acting lessons from 6pm-8pm, and finally dance practice from 9pm-2am. During their dance lesson, viewers get to hear a sneak peek of their debut song as they practice their choreography.
The girls also held a short interview where they were asked, "How are you going to study when the school year starts?". They responded, "I'm thinking about buying books and studying independently". The interviewer also asked one of the girls, "Don't your parents live in Gwang-Ju?" as she nodded her head and said "Yes, I haven't seen them in a while. The last time I saw them was on New Years day."
Late into the night, the girls finally arrive back at their dorm and the viewers get to see their home, filled with boxes and racks of clothes and shoes.
The video also reveals how much it costs to train the girls per month. Their dorms cost 1.4mil won (about $1,200), lesson fees are 5mil won (about $4,400), both transportation and meals cost 2mil won each (about $1,800 each), medical fees cost around 1mil won (about $900), and other costs... making a grand total of 18mil won (about $16,000). These fees are all paid for by the company.
Watching this video and looking at all the hard work the members put in and the money the company spends to train them, one can see why idol singers are so successful nowadays in the Kpop world.
We wish the 5doll members good luck and a successful debut!
