Famous U.S. hip-hop star Kanye West will be making his way to Korea this summer to hold his first ever concert in the region. SK Telecom recently stated "Kanye West will be headlining for the Summer Week 2010 music festival which will be held in Seoul." Summer Week 2010 is an annual event and will include some big names both from across the world and locally. An official working at SK Telecom said:
Kanye West is the biggest hip-hop icon in the 21st century who wields his talent in music as well as fashion. We expect that Kanye West's sophisticated, innovative music will heat up the intensity of the festival.Other artists scheduled to attend Summer Week 2010 include Calvin Harris, autoKratz, Does It Offend You Yeah?, Les Petits Pilous and D.I.M. Furthermore, additional headliners as well as the second line-up of performers attending the annual event and ticket information will be revealed later this month. Could you imagine Kanye West interacting with kpop idols?
