It was revealed on the 12th that Gold Miss will be ending after one year and 8 months of airing on SBS. The variety show was part of SBS's Good Sunday program line-up every Sunday, airing right after Family Outing. The show pairs up female celebrities in their late 20 - 40s against eligible bachelors while the rest of them watch them go on a date. The show has gone through several cast changes since debuting but this time the show is going off-air for good. A production staff revealed, "The final episode of Gold Miss will be airing in end-May. The members recorded their last episode on the 10th. Although they look pretty upbeat at the beginning of the recording, they soon begun to shed tears as they realized that it was their final filming for the show." World Cup special program, Waving the Korean Flag will be taking over the spot vacated by Gold Miss for the time being. There will be further discussions later as to what program will officially take over Gold Miss.
