On the January 19 broadcast of SBS Strong Heart which featured T-ara's Eunjung and Hyomin, Hyomin reportedly revealed an amusing tale about her sunbae singer, Lee Hyori. During this episode, MC Kang Ho Dong asked Hyomin whether anyone from Mnet Media, T-ara's company had ever been disagreeable or stubborn in the past. Her answer? "Lee Hyori sunbaenim." Hyomin continued with an explanation of an incident that occurred in 2008 with Hyori's comeback.
Lee Hyori wanted to choose U-Go-Girl as her title track, but the CEO wanted Hey Mr Big instead. After this tense disagreement, Lee Hyori presented him with a box of persimmons, saying, "Have some gam."In Korean, the word 'gam (?)' also means 'feeling,' so Hyori wittingly hinted that she had a feeling that U-Go-Girl was the right song to choose. After that, Hyori was able to cajole the Mnet Media president into choosing this track in the end. What a persuasive smooth-talker! So what do you guys think - did Mnet Media make the right decision in picking U-Go-Girl in the end, or do you think Hey Mr Big would have been a better title track for Hyori's third album? Stay tuned for more on Hyori's comeback (this time under Gil Entertainment) next month! Which track of Lee Hyori's 3rd album did you like more?(polls)
