It seems like Sunday Sunday Night would be a never ending program, but has the flagship variety program maybe finally reached its end after a long run? Continuous low ratings have been plaguing MBC's programs for months and has left them with no choice but to go through another revamp for Sunday Sunday Night. The single-digit ratings have caused MBC major humiliation because of their failed attempt to compete against their rivals like KBS2TV's Happy Sunday and SBS's Good Sunday. On the 25th, a showcase of the brand new Sunday Sunday Night was unveiled to the public, as it revealed 3 new programs and their respective MCs at the MBC Dream Center. The shows' PD are confident of a good showing because the programs that they have been working on are unlike anything seen before the Korean entertainment industry. A rundown of the new programs: ? 20,000 Boars Vs. Hunters: Save The Ecosystem! This show is about... Yup. Catching overpopulated boars. But hey, its to save the ecosystem right? Let's give it a chance! ? Our Father : Actresses Hwang Jung Eum and Jung Ga Eun will be the main MC's for this corner. Kim Gura and Shin Dong Yup will complement the female MCs. Not much was revealed about the show's concept. ? Only One Secret, Spread Only One Secret With The World! This will feature top stars such as Han Ji Min, Han Hyo Joo, and Cha In Pyo. Others include Kim Yong Man, Tak Jae Hoon, Ahn Young Mi, Kim Hyun Chul, and Beast's Doo Joon. The show will see the stars going to harsh places in the world and giving a helping hand to people in need. The main MC will be Han Ji Min. These are a lot of top stars if you think about it! And the project has already caught the attention of many. It's not so much about who you get now though, as the main onus of a successful variety program must be the concept. So let's hope they get it right this time, although it's hard to see how they can claw viewers away from their regular staple of 1N2D and Family Outing. But one thing's for sure, they have got nothing to lose at this point. The brand new Sunday Sunday Night will air on December 6.
