I'm sure many of you are curious about the oh-so-mysterious Nadia, the latest debutant in the world of Kpop under Purple Communications. With the onslaught of rookie groups coming out this year, it's quite refreshing to see a project group that truly sets itself apart from others. In fact, members Hwang Hyun and Myung In Hee made sure to set themselves apart from the stereotypical pop idol we're accustomed to - the tagline "all songs written and produced by Nadia" has been added to their name, emphasizing the project duo's talent not only in performance but the entire process of music-making. In a recent video interview featured on SME's Youtube account, the duo expressed that their music will be hard to put it under one genre, saying, "We do not have a certain genre. We are pop artists with a base in electronic style ... We create the music with our unique style. We aren't underground or overground, perhaps on the ground." They continued, "We put in our efforts to express the mixed emotions of a couple who just began to love. We have many other songs thats as good as our title song, Twinkling Boy, so please don't miss a single track on our CD. We will be the Nadia that steps forward to become better, so keep your eyes on us." Check out the interview here: Nadia's relaxing cover of KARA's Mister has also gained a hot response. Check out the studio version that was also released today: While the idea of self-producing music is by no means a new concept, it's interesting to see such a big agency like SM Entertainment, which is known for its pop idol groups, to help in promoting a low-key, lax project group. Who's looking forward to more from Nadia?
