Ha Ji Won is undoubtedly one of Korea's most innovative actresses. Despite her ability to play just about any character with depth and flawless emotion, this girl's popular nomination has been dropped from the upcoming 46th Daejong Awards. The 46th Daesong Awards in the female division includes Kim Min Sun, Choi Jang Hee, Jang Nara, etc. Jang Nara's name being in the nominee list has also been hit with criticism. Her movie, The Sky and the Ocean hasn't even aired, yet it has been nominated for four awards. Due to this unexpected and unexplained action, many film fans, from critics to Ji Won lovers, are crying in anger and frustration, saying, "Ha Ji Won has shown one of the best, if not THE best performances this year. Not even including her in the nominations seems like a mockery." Ha Ji Won's fantastic work in Haeundae, which includes withstanding large-scaled action scenes as well as mastering the "Busan" accent, is just one of many of her successes. She also starred in the dramatic My Love By My Side, showcasing a flawless and emotional act, co-starring with Kim Myung Min. As each scene unfolded, the audience shared the breath of the two stars as they played their respective characters. What's more is that most of the cast in Haeundae have been nominated for awards in other criteria, except for Ha Ji Won. The dispute over the lack of Ha Ji Won being one of the candidates for such an honor as the Daejong Award is anticipated to stir up some major conflicts.
