Big Bang's G-Dragon paid homage to the legendary Seo Taiji & Boys on Inkigayo today as he performed their hit single Nan Arayo / I Know. For those not in the know, Seo Taiji & Boys consisted of three members. Seo Taiji (leader who would go on to be a cultural icon), Lee Juno (legendary dancer but not much to speak of these days), and Yang Hyun Suk (better known as YG, founded YG Entertainment). This trio forever changed the landscape of music in South Korea. After their debut in 1992, the Korean music scene changed it's focus from mainly old trot singers to younger, fresh pop idol artists. If not for them, who knows how the Kpop landscape would've looked today. So with that in mind, it's good to see artists of today, such as G-Dragon paying homage to their musical forefathers.
