Jaebeom arrived home in Seattle yesterday after the recent fiasco. There's a YouTube video floating around of Jaebeom arriving at the airport. It's been reported that he cried when seeing his mom upon arrival. He always spoke about loving his mother and being thankful for her always being there for him. Upon seeing his mother he might have felt like he disappointed her. He also may have felt more at comfort now that he has seen his mother, he's finally home now and he has a real shoulder to cry on. There's probably a ton of things going on in his head and that's why he needed to take some time in Seattle to cool off.
