2NE1, armed with their smash-hit single "I Don't Care", has proven unstoppable over the past few weeks. Fresh off topping the Music Bank K-Charts for the third consecutive time, YG's fearsome foursome conquered SBS Inkigayo's Take 7 for the second week in a row, completing two-thirds of the coveted Inkigayo triple crown. Here's their victory and encore: and their performance of a remixed "I Don't Care", courtesy of CodeMonmonSeason3: The electric, synthesized sounds of the remix don't mesh too well with the lyrics' "I don't give a flapjack" message, but this version does have more of a summertime feel. About their victory... well, the girls are winning so often, it's hard to come up with anything new to say about their triumphs anymore. Congrats to the girls, keep on kickin' ass, and you have set a precedent for all future rookies to strive towards. In other highlights from 2NE1's win, Inkigayo co-MC Taecyeon looks like the Eiffel Tower compared to the 33 girls on stage (look at the top picture), and I wish SBS broadcasted at least a couple more seconds of their encore performance. Stay tuned for next week's SBS Inkigayo, when 2NE1 attempts to fend off new girl-group challengers Kara and Brown Eyed Girls in order to capture the Inkigayo Triple Crown!
