It was announced this morning that Sugar's Park Soo Jin has been confirmed for the role of Cha Eun Jae and is slated to appear in 3 episodes of KBS2TV Boys Before Flowers. Soo Jin plays Yi Jung's first love, who is a big part of why he becomes F4's biggest playboy. Eun Jae was Yi Jung's childhood friend who loved him, but was unable to carry out that love through and ended up with his brother, So Yil Hyun (played by Im Joo Hwan), instead. But through her, Yi Jung's hidden side is revealed as someone who is pure-hearted and earnest. Eun Jae will also further strengthen Ga Eul & Yi Jung's melo-love story. Taking on the role, Park Soo Jin stated, "Even though the weather's still cool, my heart feels like a warm spring. I will do my best to show Eun Jae as a child who conveyed a faint and happy feeling as a first love." In addition to Park Soo Jin, confirmed as So Yi Jung's older brother, was Im Joo Hwan (character: So Yil Hyun) who throws away his family name to become a normal person, working as a barista. Yil Hyun will be introduced in episode 17, who is both resentful and apologetic, as he left the family heir and heavy burden on his younger brother Yi Jung. The introduction and addition to the story, adds yet another layer onto Yi Jung's young cynical character, which was not in the manga. They are both expected to make their appearance on Episode 17, which airs on March 2nd.
