Son Dambi’s Hollywood straight to DVD debut B-movie “Hype Nation” was suppose to begin filming in mid January, as previously stated, but it now has been rescheduled for April. The Engrish Gods have certainly blessed Dambi with the opportunity to work on her English and acting skills a little more before she dives head first into her role. Son Dambi’s “We Got Married” fans are worried that she will have to forfeit the show before filming for the movie begins. Dambi’s agency claims that they will adjust her schedule so she can continue filming “We Got Married” while concurrently shooting “Hype Nation” but time will tell if this is even possible. My guess is no since filming for a T.V. program and filming for a Hollywood production are two totally different things. As of today, Whoopi Goldberg and (burned out) hip hop group B2K are still on the call sheet. Hip hop producer Teddy Riley is the music director for the film but he seems to have a little more clout, behind the scenes, than what his title suggests. Here’s footage of Teddy Riley explaining his plans for "Hype Nation" at a press conference in Korea last year:
