tripleS has just announced a new sub-unit that will be promoted in Japan. This news comes amid all the work and content tripleS has released so far, including their OT24 debut with 'Girls Never Die' back in May, tripleS Glow's debut in June, their first OT24 fan concert, 'Girls Never Stop' on July 6 and 7, and Vision@ry Vision's upcoming debut next month.

For reference, sub-units are referred to as 'Dimensions' in tripleS' concept.

According to the video, the new sub-unit will consist of 8 members and will be active until 2025, which is the first tripleS sub-unit to have an extended promotion period. Usually, tripleS sub-units promote for 2-3 months before regrouping, however, this sub-unit will promote until 2025, where they will regroup, and then a new Japan sub-unit will be voted for in mid-2025.

tripleS also revealed the voting schedule of the sub-unit, when fans can vote for the members in the sub-unit. All 24 members will be able to participate in the formation of the sub-unit, including the Vision@ry Vision members.

Part 1: Pre-selected members
In all competitive tripleS sub-units, some members are pre-selected into the unit and are not chosen by fans. There will be 2 pre-selected members of the Japan sub-unit, who will be revealed on July 18, 2024, at 21:30 KST.

Part 2: Next 2 members (OTT voting)
The next two members will be voted on a Japanese OTT webpage. The voting of these members will take an entire month, lasting from July 20, 2024, 10:00 KST to August 20, 2024, 21:30 KST. The results of the voting will be revealed on August 25th. It is speculated that the voting is lasting for a month so that the sub-unit's future schedules will not clash with VV's debut in August.

Part 3: Next 2 members (Cosmo voting) Day 1
The next two members will be voted on through the Cosmo app. Voting will take place from August 26, 2024, 11:00 KST to August 27, 2024, 08:00 KST.

Part 4: Final 2 members (Cosmo voting) Day 2
The final two members of the sub-unit will be voted on through the Cosmo app like the previous two. Voting will take place from August 27, 2024, 11:00 KST to August 28, 2024, 08:00 KST.

Fans can vote on the Cosmo app (for parts 3 and 4) and use como (in-app currency) to vote. Como can be collected by purchasing objekts (digital photocards) on the app. The Japanese OTT webpage link will be revealed in the future.
