JYP Entertainment announced on the 22nd the completion of debut preparations for their new global girl group, VCHA (Lexi, Camila, Kendall, Savanna, KG, and Kaylee).
The company released a teaser of the music video for VCHA's debut song, 'Girls of the Year.' The video starts with a scene of VCHA members gathered in a practice room, capturing attention.
'Girls of the Year,' VCHA's new song, expresses the six members' cherished dreams, bold ambitions, and high goals, aiming to represent the girls of the year. Esteemed writers such as Marcus Andersson, Lauren Aquilina, and Chloe Latimer collaborated to strengthen VCHA's debut. The new record includes a total of two songs, including the title track 'Girls of the Year' and 'XO Call Me.'
VCHA is a result of a major collaborative project 'A2K (America2Korea)' between leading K-pop agency JYP and Universal Music Group's top U.S. label under Billboard, Republic Records.
VCHA is set to officially release their first single album 'Girls of the Year' on the 26th at 2 PM KST.
