On October 8, SHINee's Key appeared as a guest on KBS2's popular Friday night music talk show, 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook'!
On this day, Key performed his 1st mini album comeback title track "Bad Love", as well as a cover of Lizzo's "Juice", which you can catch below!
During his interview with MC Yoo Hee Yeol, Key discussed what's changed about him since returning from his mandatory military service duties. Yoo Hee Yeol observed, "You seem so busy these days," to which Key replied, "I am appearing on variety shows, I prepared for my solo album, I am now doing my solo promotions, and I also prepared for my online concert. But in truth, if you count the number of schedules, the amount of work that I am doing has gone down a lot from before."
Key continued, "They say that you change as a person after military service. I think that happened to me. During my service, I spent time looking back on my past promotions and monitoring myself, and it occurred to me, 'There's no need for me to work myself that hard.' Back then, I did everything that anyone suggested. But now, I've decided to become someone who is focussed and devoted to the work in front of me, the work I select for myself."
Hearing this, MC Yoo Hee Yeol complimented Key with, "Maybe because you decided to focus on a select number of activities, it seems like you're appearing much more often than before." However, the MC then had another question to ask, "I'm a little worried. Key is a fixed cast member of 'I Live Alone', a rival program to ours. Is this really okay?"
Laughing, Key answered, "I came to a settlement between both sides, and I did receive approval. Honestly, I can't just come out on here secretly. I can't come out on both programs at once during the same week, but for this week, I made negotiations so that I could participate on 'Sketchbook'."
Seriously who is going to deny him! The man is a talented celebrity magnet! Everybody wants him on their shows and he deserves all of the adoration. He is so right the military changes them from boys to men, many have said the same thing. It's so great seeing all them when they come back. Priorities change and not about all work and no life.
