On the October 21 episode of the MBC variety program 'Mask King,' contenders participated in the second round of battles on their way up to finally battling current 'mask king' contestant 'Dongmakgol Girl'.
During the broadcast, the first contestants to go head-to-head in the second round were masked singers 'Mishil' and 'Observatory'.
The round started off with 'Observatory' singing Lee Hi's single "Rose," wowing over the judges with their range ability, especially when hitting lower notes. 'Mishil' performed Park Mi Kyung's "Distant Memories Of You," also unveiling an explosive singing ability.
After all votes were in, it was revealed that 'Observatory' received 32 votes, while 'Mishil' received 67, meaning that 'Observatory' had to reveal their identity. When it was time to finally unmask, the contestant proved to be none other than Cosmic Girls' Seola.

During her reveal stage, she talked about how surprised she was when she heard the panel's remarks after her performance, particularly the assumption that she must have trained for a long time. Seola shared that she had actually spent ten years as a trainee before finally debuting with Cosmic Girls, having started training to be an idol when she was just 13.
