This song seems inspired by the indie music of the american psychedelic subgenre, the atmosphere of the chorus, the sounds and the sing ingreminded me a bit of the sounds of Time Impala. MV has totaly that style. But this is my opinion.

I was referring to Korean Indie and my point was more, if you had New Jeans songs in a Korean Indie playlist, it wouldn't feel out of place. Groups like Standing Egg, Hyuk Oh, Busker Busker etc.

New Jeans is actually sort of mainstream indie if that makes sense. I noticed that not only KPOP fans but people who normally do not like KPOP, like New Jeans. Most KPOP groups have a commercial sound but producer 250 is bringing his underground/indie sensibilities to mainstream.
