In today's Guest Visit session at '2024 Cinematheque's Friends Film Festival', acclaimed director Bong Joon Ho debunks the recent controversial rumor about Warner Bros. Studios censoring his upcoming film 'Mickey 17'.
Bong personally clarifies that the rumor is unfounded. Bong specifies that he has included the clause to have full control over editing rights in his contract, and that he has submitted the completed edit last November. He adds on that Warner Bros' executives have been nothing but supportive.
According to Bong, his upcoming film 'Mickey 17', starring Robert Pattinson, is gearing for promotional activities soon.
