
TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) continues to solidify their growing popularity in Japan, landing theme songs for both an anime series and a morning TV show.
Their upcoming Japanese single ‘Rise’, set for release in April, has been selected as the opening theme for the anime series ‘BEYBLADE X’. The track was written and composed by Yuji and Momiken of the popular Japanese band SPYAIR.
TXT shared, “‘Rise’ is a song meant to encourage everyone working hard. We’re honored to be part of this project and hope fans enjoy it along with the anime.” The track will premiere in episode 75 of the show airing on April 4, with its official release scheduled for midnight on April 7.
Another new track, ‘Step By Step’, has been chosen as the theme song for Fuji TV’s Saturday morning show ‘Mezamashi Doyobi’. The song was written by renowned singer-songwriter Eve, widely known for his work on anime and commercial soundtracks.
TXT commented, “We’re glad this uplifting song will be part of a morning show. We hope it brings energy and positivity to everyone’s weekend.” The track will be used on the program for one year starting April 5.
Meanwhile, TXT is currently on their ‘TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR - ACT: SWEET MIRAGE - EP. 2 -’, performing for fans around the world. They recently kicked off the European leg of the tour, with upcoming stops in London (March 25), Berlin (March 27), Paris (March 30), and Amsterdam (April 1), as part of a 13-city, 23-show run.
