Stray Kids marked their 7th debut anniversary on March 25th, 2025, celebrating with fans across the globe and reflecting on a remarkable journey that began in March 2018 with their debut album ‘I am NOT’ and title track "District 9".
The group—known for their powerful performances and unique concepts led by in-house producing unit 3RACHA (Bang Chan, Changbin, Han)—commemorated the occasion by releasing a digital single ‘Mixtape : dominATE’ on March 21st. The release includes the Korean version of ‘GIANT’, as well as unit tracks like ‘Burnin’ Tires’ (Changbin & I.N), ‘Truman’ (Han & Felix), ‘ESCAPE’ (Bang Chan & Hyunjin), and ‘CINEMA’ (Lee Know & Seungmin). The project quickly soared to the top of global iTunes and Apple Music charts, with music videos trending at the top worldwide.
At midnight on the 25th, Stray Kids also shared celebratory images on their official social media, showcasing their strong bond and expressing gratitude to their fandom, STAY. On the morning of the 26th, they hosted a YouTube live stream to connect directly with fans and reminisce on their journey.
Stray Kids continue to dominate the global music scene. From their debut album to the recent ‘Mixtape : dominATE’, they’ve consistently delivered chart-topping records. They’ve made history as the first artist to debut six consecutive albums at No.1 on the Billboard 200, starting with ‘ODDINARY’ in 2022 through to ‘合 (HOP)’ in late 2024. On the Billboard Hot 100, they became the first 4th-gen boy group to chart with ‘락 (樂)’, followed by ‘Chk Chk Boom’.
Their accolades include wins at the MTV Video Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and People’s Choice Awards, among others. In 2024, they became the first K-pop artist to surpass 1 million physical album sales in the U.S. alone, and their combined Korean and Japanese album sales have topped 30 million.
Stray Kids are currently preparing to resume their largest world tour to date, ‘dominATE’, with shows in Santiago on March 27th and 28th. The tour spans 55 concerts across 34 cities, including stadiums in Latin America, North America, Japan, and Europe. For the first time, they will perform their new unit songs live, further igniting excitement among their global fans.
