Shoo, a former member of the iconic K-pop group S.E.S, revealed her new journey as a businesswoman, stating that she has overcome her past struggles with gambling and is now focusing on launching a new venture.

On February 28th, Shoo shared an update, saying, “I've been deeply involved in preparing for a launch event starting March 5th. If you do your best, you have no regrets. These days, I’m spending most of my time at the office and in the fields,” highlighting her busy schedule.

Recently, Shoo also shared her new hobby of 'self-interior work,' where she selects materials for her projects. She expressed her excitement, saying, “I went to a woodworking factory, touched the materials, and imagined each piece. Let’s carefully work on every surface.”

In addition, Shoo revealed that she has become a farmer managing a 1500-pyeong (approximately 50,000 square feet) farm, giving glimpses of her simple but fulfilling daily life.

Shoo debuted in 1997 as a member of S.E.S., one of the first and most successful K-pop girl groups. The group became a cultural phenomenon with hits like 'I’m Your Girl,' 'Dreams Come True,' 'I Love You,' 'Love,' 'Dreams Come True,' and 'Just A Feeling.'

However, Shoo's career took a turn when she was implicated in a gambling scandal. Between August 2016 and May 2018, she was accused of habitual gambling abroad, spending a total of 790 million KRW (about $540,430) across 26 separate instances. In February 2019, she was sentenced to six months in prison, with a two-year probation period and 80 hours of community service.

Shoo married former basketball player Im Hyo Sung in 2010, and they have one son and twin daughters. Despite her past challenges, Shoo is moving forward with her entrepreneurial ambitions and is focused on her new endeavors, determined to make the most of her future.
