
Chun Woo Hee donates 40 million KRW(~61,000 USD) to support wildfire victims and firefighters
On March 24th KST, the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association announced that Chun had donated 40 million KRW to support those affected by the recent wildfires and to assist firefighters actively working in disaster zones.
Chun stated, “After hearing the news about the wildfires, I decided to donate in hopes that I could offer even a small amount of help. I truly hope the fires are extinguished soon and that the affected residents can return to their daily lives as quickly as possible.”
She added, “I also hope this can be of some help to the firefighters who always step up during times of crisis.”
Chun Woo Hee is a member of the Hope Bridge Honors Club, a group of high-value donors. Since the 2019 Gangwon wildfire, she has consistently supported disaster relief efforts following typhoons, heavy rains, and other emergencies—spreading positive influence through her continued giving.
Shin Hoon, Secretary General of Hope Bridge, expressed his gratitude: “We sincerely thank Chun Woo Hee for her warm-hearted donation. Hope Bridge will do its utmost to ensure that those impacted by the wildfires can return to normal life as soon as possible.”
Donations for wildfire relief in Gyeongsang Province can be made via the Hope Bridge website or through online fundraising platforms Naver Happy Bean and Kakao Together (같이가치).
