On February 6, tvN’s upcoming weekend drama 'The Potato Lab' (directed by Kang Il Soo and Shim Jae Hyun, written by Kim Ho Soo, planned by CJ ENM Studios, and produced by Chorokbaem Media) unveiled two character teaser videos, sparking curiosity with the contrasting charms of Kim Mi Kyung (played by Lee Sun Bin), an eccentric genius at 'The Potato Lab,' and So Baek Ho (played by Kang Tae Oh), a cold-hearted perfectionist.

'The Potato Lab' is a healing romantic comedy that revolves around Mi Kyung, whose life revolves around potatoes, and Baek Ho, a strict realist, as they get entangled in a whirlwind romance as unpredictable as a tornado potato. The series is helmed by director Kang Il Soo and writer Kim Ho Soo, known for their versatile storytelling in Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung and Solomon’s Perjury, raising expectations for a unique and heartwarming narrative.

Set in a secluded mountain potato research lab, the drama follows the clashing yet complementing duo as they bake, fry, and boil their way through a sizzling romance.
