Kakao Entertainment announced on February 27 that its popular webtoon 'Secret Relationships' had been adapted into a live-action drama.

The drama adaptation of 'Secret Relationships,' which was jointly produced by Fuji TV, Playlist, and Kakao Entertainment, aired simultaneously on global platforms such as Watcha, FOD, and iQIYI. WEi members Kim Jun Seo, Cha Sun Hyung, Cha Jeong Woo, and Kim Ho Young were cast in the lead roles.

Not only that the popular Webtoon was adapted into a web novel. Launched on Kakao Page on the 14th, the novel delved deeper into the inner workings of the characters and their relationships, adding more layers to the original webtoon.

A Kakao Entertainment representative stated, "As the success stories of content based on Kakao Entertainment’s story IP accumulated, collaborations with competitive domestic and international production companies increased. This year, we continued to create opportunities to highlight the excellence of Kakao Entertainment’s IP."

In particular, 'Secret Relationships' debuted at number 1 on the TOP 20 on Watcha's popular watch list.
