Park Eun Bin takes on her first doctor role in intense medical thriller ‘Hyper Knife’.

Park Eun Bin is set to make a dramatic transformation as a genius surgeon in Disney+’s original series ‘Hyper Knife’.

On February 18th KST, the production team of ‘Hyper Knife’ unveiled first-look stills of Park Eun Bin in character, showcasing a completely different side of the actress.

The medical thriller follows Jung Se Ok (Park Eun Bin), a once-promising prodigy in neurosurgery who falls into ruin due to her mentor, Choi Deok Hee (Sol Kyung Gu). Years later, the two cross paths again, leading to an intense confrontation.

Park Eun Bin plays Jung Se Ok, a shadow doctor who operates illegally after losing her medical license. Obsessed with brain surgery, she is willing to do whatever it takes to perform operations. However, after being betrayed by her mentor, she is forced to live a dangerous, hidden existence. The high-stakes rivalry between Park Eun Bin and Sol Kyung Gu is one of the most anticipated aspects of the drama.

The newly released stills showcase Jung Se Ok’s multi-faceted personality:

• A surgeon intensely focused on an operation, her scrubs stained with blood

• A fierce and sharp-eyed doctor, exuding dominance

• A vulnerable woman breaking down in tears, unable to contain her emotions

Park Eun Bin’s portrayal of Se Ok’s obsession and instability is expected to deliver one of her most powerful performances yet.

Director Kim Jung Hyun shared:

“Park Eun Bin has completely embodied Jung Se Ok, bringing her to life with remarkable depth. Audiences will see a side of her they’ve never witnessed before.”

Co-star Sol Kyung Gu also expressed his admiration:

“At first, I was surprised—‘Park Eun Bin in this role?’ But that’s exactly what intrigued me. Her casting was a major factor in my decision to join this project.”

Park Eun Bin revealed:

“There was something fascinating about the character’s backstory and structure. Se Ok is incredibly complex, both inside and out, and I was eager to take on the challenge of portraying her.”

The 8-episode drama will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on March 19th.
