Ottogi announced on February 26 that the company has selected BTS’s Jin as the global model for Jin Ramen and will launch a campaign starting next month.
This year, Ottogi plans to revamp Jin Ramen's global packaging and actively expand its market through global marketing efforts. The worldwide campaign will kick off with a promotional video. Packaging featuring BTS Jin’s image will be available for bowl and cup ramen products. His image will not only appear on domestic products but also on exported Jin Ramen sold in the U.S., Canada, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, and other countries.
The company has also included collectible seal stickers. These stickers, found in multipack versions of Jin Ramen, come in 12 designs featuring Jin, his handwritten messages, and Wootteo—the character he created to celebrate the release of his first solo single, "The Astronaut," in 2022. Domestic products will include one of the 12 designs in limited quantities, while export multipacks will feature one of four sticker designs with Jin’s portrait.

Recently, Ottogi has been actively promoting Jin Ramen overseas, including participating in the 2025 Winter Fancy Food Show, the largest food exhibition in the U.S., held in Las Vegas. To make the product more recognizable to international consumers, the English spelling of Jin has been prominently displayed on the packaging. Additionally, flavors are labeled by name, and a cute mascot has been introduced to enhance familiarity and solidify brand recognition among global consumers.
An Ottogi representative stated, “Through the Jin Ramen global campaign, we aim to strengthen communication with overseas consumers actively. We plan to successfully promote this new campaign with global artist BTS’s Jin.”
