BTS’s J-Hope is set to make his first variety show appearance since completing his military service.
On February 19th KST, a representative from JTBC’s ‘Please Take Care of My Refrigerator’ confirmed, “J-Hope will be appearing as a guest on the show. The recording has already been completed, but the broadcast date has yet to be decided.”
J-Hope enlisted in April 2023, becoming the second BTS member to join the military after Jin. He served in the Republic of Korea Army’s 36th Infantry Division before being discharged in October 2023. Following his discharge, his first official appearance was as the ceremonial first pitcher at a KBO League Korean Series game between the Kia Tigers and Samsung Lions.
Additionally, J-Hope reportedly filmed an episode of MBC’s ‘I Live Alone’ in secret, raising further anticipation among fans.
Meanwhile, J-Hope is preparing for his first-ever solo world tour, ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’, marking his official return to solo activities after military service. The tour will kick off in Seoul and continue to Brooklyn, Chicago, Mexico City, San Antonio, Auckland, Los Angeles, Manila, Saitama, Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok, Macau, Taipei, and Osaka.
J-Hope’s episode of ‘Please Take Care of My Refrigerator’ will air at a later date.
