Actor Lee Byung Hun expressed his gratitude for the support of his high school classmates while adding a playful jab that brought smiles to his fans.

On January 15, Lee posted several photos with the caption, "Thank you, Class 7 of Grade 3."

The pictures showcased a snack truck sent to the set of his upcoming film It Can’t Be Helped by his alumni from Jungdong High School. The banner on the truck featured a photo of Lee and read, “An irresistible love for Byung Hun, delivered with warm coffee – from Jungdong High School, Class of ’81, friends of actor Lee Byung Hun.”

Another banner displayed a group photo of the reunion with the message, “Wishing the successful filming and box office hit of It Can’t Be Helped.”  Lee and his classmates, radiating bright smiles, exuded camaraderie and warmth.

His relaxed demeanor alongside long-time friends and the dignified charm of his classmates captivated attention. Adding a humorous twist, Lee captioned the photos, “Not teachers,”  teasingly addressing the mature appearances of his peers.

This isn’t the first time Lee has shared amusing anecdotes about his school friends. During his 2023 appearance on tvN’s 'You Quiz on the Block,' he joked about attending his high school reunion after a long absence. “I hadn’t been to reunions for years, but I started attending about 3–4 years ago. When I saw my friends, I initially thought they weren’t my friends,” he said, poking fun at their aged looks.

He humorously added, “At my first reunion, I was looking for our homeroom teacher and thought, ‘That must be him,’ only to realize it was a friend. My friends seem to have worked very hard in life.”

Lee Byung Hun married actress Lee Min Jung, who is 12 years his junior, in 2013. The couple has a son and a daughter. Recently, Lee reprised his role as the Frontman in Netflix’s Squid Game Season 2 and is currently filming director Park Chan Wook’s highly anticipated new project, 'No Other Choice.'
