Singer Do Dae Yoon returns to survival show 14 years after ‘Superstar K3’.
Do Dae Yoon, known for being part of the duo Two Months from Mnet’s ‘Superstar K3’ in 2011, will compete in a survival show for the first time in 14 years.
On December 17 KST, ENA announced that Do Dae Yoon will appear in ‘UNDERCOVER’, a cover influencer survival program, set to premiere on January 12 at 7:40 PM.
Two Months, composed of Do Dae Yoon and singer-songwriter Kim Ye Rim, gained attention after meeting at a U.S. high school and finishing in the Top 3 on ‘Superstar K3.’ While Kim Ye Rim continued her music career, Do Dae Yoon halted his activities.
Earlier this year, in February, Do Dae Yoon opened up on KBS Joy’s ‘Ask Us Anything Fortune Teller’ about being hospitalized for bipolar disorder at the age of 20.
The production team shared, “Do Dae Yoon, who overcame hardships and returned to music after a long hiatus, will move audiences. It was an emotional moment for both the viewers and fellow contestants to see him sing on stage again after 14 years.”
‘UNDERCOVER’ is a survival music show that crowns the best cover influencer, spotlighting those who reinterpret original songs into unique performances. The show features judges like Jung Jae Hyung, Park Jung Hyun, Lee Suk Hoon, Kwon Eun Bi, and GroovyRoom.
Apart from Do Dae Yoon, participants include a social media star with 18 million followers and a viral talent with over 4 billion cumulative views who has caught the attention of global pop stars.
