On November 26th, the MC lineup for the '2024 SBS Entertainment Awards', set to take place on December 31st, was revealed through an iMBC entertainment report. The hosts will be announcer Jeon Hyun Moo, model and broadcaster Lee Hyun Yi, and comedian Jang Do Yeon.

Jeon Hyun Moo began his career as a journalist, joining the Chosun Ilbo as part of its 43rd public recruitment class. He later passed the 8th public recruitment for YTN and the 32nd public recruitment announcer selection for KBS in 2006. Jeon actively hosted various programs, including 'Vitamin', 'Star Golden Bell', and 'Happy Sunday', before transitioning to freelance work in 2012. Since then, he has gained widespread recognition for his exceptional hosting skills in numerous entertainment programs and is now regarded as a leading MC. This marks his return to the SBS Entertainment Awards as an MC, having previously hosted in 2015 and 2017.

Lee Hyun Yi debuted in 2005 at the Korea-China Supermodel Selection Contest. Known for her striking features and slender physique, she quickly rose to prominence in the modeling industry. Her outstanding entertainment skills have been widely recognized through her participation in various shows. Lee received the Grand Prize in the Show Sports category at the 2022 SBS Entertainment Awards and is currently active in programs such as 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny', 'The Women Who Kick the Goal', and 'Life's 2nd Act Starting Today'. Having previously served as an MC for the SBS Entertainment Awards in 2022 and 2023, she has proven her polished hosting abilities and will reprise her role this year.

Jang Do Yeon, who debuted as a comedian in KBS's 22nd public recruitment class in 2007, has become a dominant figure in the entertainment industry. Initially gaining attention through the public comedy program 'Signboard', she has recently expanded her influence in variety shows. 

Jang has a strong connection with the SBS Entertainment Awards, having co-hosted with Lee Seung Gi and Han Hye Jin in 2021 and with Tak Jae Hoon and Lee Hyun Yi in 2022. This year, anticipation is building around the wit and charm she will bring to the stage.

Meanwhile, the 'SBS Entertainment Awards' will take place on December 31st. Traditionally, SBS concluded the year with the 'Drama Awards', but last year, the schedule was adjusted to December 29th. 

This year, the Drama Awards will be held earlier, on December 21st, making the Entertainment Awards the concluding event of the year. The ceremony is expected to feature fierce competition among SBS's signature long-running entertainment programs, such as 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny', 'My Little Old Boy', and 'Running Man', as well as newer shows like 'The Women Who Kick the Ball' and 'Whenever I Have a Chance'.
