Lee Dong Gun and Park Ha Sun are starring in the upcoming romance drama 'A Love Completely Useless'.
On November 6, the team behind the short-form drama 'A Love Completely Useless' announced Lee Dong Gun and Park Ha Sun are appearing in the romantic comedy series.
The drama tells the story of a bachelor and a spinster who hold outdated beliefs that a couple must marry if they spend the night together. The two meet each other and find they're polar opposites of their ideal partners, but by accident, end up spending a night together. Lee Dong Gun is taking on the role of Lee Moo Gae, who works as a literary critic and the head of an editorial department at a publishing company. He's a dutiful son, excellent student, and a devoted brother, but due to his shy personality, he has trouble confessing his feelings and has a knack for unrequited love.
Park Ha Sun is playing the role of Do Do Hye, who's the head of the design department at a publishing company. Do Do Hye is a master of being alone and believes she is the perfect bride-to-be, but she also has a strange ability to repel any man who approaches her.
The project is attracting attention as it's set to be directed by Lee Jung Seop, a veteran director known for numerous hit dramas like 'Baker King Kim Tak Goo', 'Healer', 'Neighborhood Lawyer Jo Deul Ho', 'The 7 Day Queen', and 'Just One Love'. The combination of a short-form drama format and Lee Jung Seop's delicate yet powerful directing style is expected to create excellent synergy.
'A Love Completely Useless' is scheduled to premiere in January of 2025 on PulsePick, a short-form streaming platform set to launch in beta.
