The luxury villa Parc Hannam, located in UN Village, where BTS member Suga had been living on a deposit paid by Big Hit Music, is expected to be purchased by Choi Jin Man, the founder of Cricket Group.
Suga had been residing in Parc Hannam on a deposit arrangement until recently.
Previously, in November 2018, Suga purchased the third floor of another luxury villa, Hannam Riverhill, in UN Village for 3.4 billion won. However, he moved to Parc Hannam in November 2021 following reported conflicts with residents.
The rent for Parc Hannam is 9.5 billion won (approximately $7.1 million USD), with the deposit paid by Big Hit Music. Suga reportedly lived there until May 2023, before relocating to Nine One Hannam, another luxury residence.
On August 6th, at 11:27 PM, Suga was found lying alone on an electric scooter on a street in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. A nearby police officer assisted him, and a subsequent breathalyzer test revealed a blood alcohol content of 0.227%, which qualifies as a high level of intoxication under South Korean law.
As a result, Judge Lee Yoo Seop of the 7th Summary Division of the Seoul Western District Court issued a summary order on September 27th, fining Suga 15 million won (approximately $11,250 USD) for drunk driving, in violation of the Road Traffic Act.
