HYBE's website listing ADOR at the bottom of the list has caught the attention of Korean netizens, who interpret it as a subtle expression of HYBE's current stance toward ADOR amidst its ongoing conflict with former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin.
The current feud had continued for the past few months and quickly escalated. Min Hee Jin, the mastermind behind NewJeans, filed an injunction against HYBE. The rift began publicly in April when HYBE alleged that Min attempted to undermine HYBE’s influence over ADOR by seeking external investors, which led to her dismissal.
However, Min Hee Jin countered by accusing HYBE of misconduct, including copying NewJeans’ creative assets to create a similar girl group under another HYBE label.
Many netizens view HYBE's decision to place ADOR, one of its subsidiaries, at the bottom of its website list as petty and unprofessional. They see it as a subtle, disparaging gesture that reflects HYBE’s stance in light of the ongoing conflict with former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin.
Korean netizens commented:
"They are so childish. They call themselves a conglomerate?"
"They put ADOR all the way on the bottom."
"They're so easy to read."
"How petty, putting the label all the way at the bottom of the list, lol."
"HYBE is so dedicated."
"They should put Belift Lab on the bottom."
"They put the companies in the order that they love."
"Man~ so petty."
"They are so childish."
"Don't companies usually list alphabetically?"
"So obvious...."
"Wow, ADOR is below KOZ... lol so childish."
"So petty."
