Goo Hye Sun gave an update through social media.
On October 3, Goo Hye Sun took to social media to post selfies with the caption, "Selfie overload after work." As expected of a former Ulzzang star, she captivated fans and netizens with her timeless beauty.
Goo Hye Sun divorced actor Ahn Jae Hyun in 2020 and focused on school and art. In particular, she garnered much attention when it was revealed that she had been accepted to the KAIST Graduate School of Science Journalism's master program in June. Since then, Goo Hye Sun has been known to be focusing on her studies as she has been sharing her daily college life through social media.
On October 4, she also revealed that she was working on her autobiographical film project. Goo Hye Sun said, "I am currently in the post-production phase of the autobiographical music feature documentary 'Studio Goo Hye Sun' that I've been preparing for 4 years to pioneer a new genre called Poem Movie."
She also added, "I stopped working on it for a while after my pet passed away," and confessed she was suffering from pet loss syndrome.
Pet loss syndrome refers to the severe sense of loss and depression felt by the owner when their pet dies or disappears. People who consider their pets as family members may experience emotional shock and various symptoms such as sadness, guilt, and helplessness.
Meanwhile, 'Studio Goo Hye Sun' directed by Goo Hye Sun is a music documentary based on the featured film 'Peach Tree' released in 2012. The work is based on the New Age piano music composed by Goo Hye Sun and contains her autobiographical story.
