On September 16th, KBS2’s variety show 'Synchro You' aired its first episode, recording a nationwide rating of 3.7% and a peak of 6.1%, making it the most-watched entertainment show in its time slot during the Chuseok holiday (according to Nielsen Korea).

'Synchro You' is a music variety show where top artists perform cover stages, with the challenge of distinguishing real performances from AI-generated ones.

In the first episode, Yoo Jae Suk greeted the viewers, while the detective panel—composed of Lee Juck, Lee Yong Jin, Hoshi, Karina, and Jonathan—raised anticipation for the show. 

The lineup included songs from Baek Ji Young, Jannabi, Lee Seung Gi, Insooni, Lyn, and Jay Park, with AI advancements making it harder to tell real voices from AI.

Despite the panel's guesses, real dream artists Lee Seung Gi and Lyn surprised them by appearing on stage, with Lee Seung Gi commenting, "I prepared harder for this than for my own stage." Lee Seung Gi revealed that he deliberately sang in a machine-like manner to trick the panel.

With twists and impressive performances, 'Synchro You' made a strong debut, hinting at more surprises to come.
