Kang Daniel recently gained attention for his shocking admission on an SBS radio interview, in which he revealed that during the conflict with his former company, he hadn’t left the house for three months straight. Kang Daniel discussed that time, saying, "To be honest, I didn't exercise and only played games and worked on music, so I lost weight."
The idol also revealed his military enlistment plans in the radio interview. He shared that he will be enlisting next year and is looking forward to it, stating, “I’m finally going.” He also revealed his past plans to enlist: "I dropped out of high school and took the GED exam to enlist in the military early at 19, but I was rejected because there were too many applicants."
Meanwhile, Kang Daniel recently made a comeback with his new album ‘ACT,’ his first music release in over 1 year and 3 months. In regards to the title track ‘Electric Shock’, Kang Daniel said that the lyrics express the "heart-pounding moment when you first feel love." He said that he acted out two personalities in the music video: 'Nerd Kang Daniel' and 'Celebrity Kang Daniel.'
Kang Daniel also recently celebrated his 5th anniversary as a solo artist, and will be holding a solo concert in October to commemorate the occasion. He hinted that fans should look forward to the concert: "It's meaningful to be doing it at the same place where I had my concert in Seoul two years ago…I think fans will feel something new since I've polished my vocals a lot for 1 year and 3 months.”
