Hyeri responded coolly to recent "plastic surgery rumors."

On September 20, a video titled "Hyeri’s Recent Change: A Look Back at Hyeri’s Hair, Makeup, and Fashion from Debut to Now!" was uploaded to her YouTube channel. The video began with online user comments asking whether Hyeri had gotten plastic surgery. Therefore, Hyeri decided to review all her past photos and styles since her debut.

In the video, Hyeri, alongside her younger sister, stylist, and other acquaintances, reviewed her past styling choices and took the time to pick her "best looks."

At one point, Hyeri reflected on a photo taken at an event, admitting, "I looked absolutely terrible that day."

In the photo, she wore black full bangs paired with a black mini dress. Commenting on her appearance, Hyeri said, "The contact lenses were way too big." Her sister jokingly added, "Your eyes look like squinty slits," offering a playful critique.

The staff joined in, saying, "That hairstyle is really off. It doesn't suit you at all. The outfit also looks uncomfortable, especially in the front. It even seems like you're wearing your bag on the front." Hyeri laughed and agreed, adding, "It was over the top that day. My hair, makeup, and outfit were all from different places. I remember seeing a comment that asked, 'When will Hyeri finally find her own style?'"

Hyeri then addressed the plastic surgery rumors that arose from the photo with a light-hearted remark, "Honestly, looking at that photo, even I can see why people think I had something done," causing everyone to laugh.
