Continuing her hot streak from this Summer’s club anthem “Algorithm,” CHUNG HA is surprising fans with three special remixes with producers IMLAY and Mar Vista, producers and DJs under ScreaM Records, along with Will Not Fear, an artist gaining attention through various collaborations, now available. Along with the remixes, she has also released a visualizer video for fans of IMLAY’s mix. Earlier this year, with her comeback on Jay Park’s MORE VISION label, she released “EEENIE MEENIE” featuring Hongjoong of ATEEZ, her first single since 2022’s 'Bare & Rare.'
Adding musical synergy to the project, IMLAY’s version seamlessly blends elements of deep house and garage, while Will Not Fear combines the rhythms of trendy UK garage and drill bass over bold bass music. Mar Vista’s version reinterprets the track with a danceable UKG style, offering three fresh and unique takes, each named after the contributing producer/DJ.
Initially released in August, “Algorithm,” tells the story of a fated love as if drawn together by a predetermined algorithm. The new music video for “Algorithm,” features Chung Ha and South Korean singer & actress Ung Jung Hwa dressed in Y2K-inspired outfits, while taking fun cues from various social media platforms within the video. Later, the singer leads a dance party at a nightclub with a neon-lit dancefloor, closing with Jung Hwa seen in her dressing room, scrolling through her phone where we see she has been the one watching on her phone all along.
Chung Ha explains that “Algorithm” is a pop dance track with House-based rhythms, synthesizer arpeggios, and distorted piano sounds. "The lyrics tell the story of falling in love like a planned-out algorithm." Through the reinterpretation of various musical genres, this remix version brings a richer, more diverse charm and a mature mood, offering fans a new emotional experience.
